The African Student Scholarship is available for International Students who want to continue their studies in a Graduate program in All fields at Brandon University, Canada. 

Scholarship Benefits: 

891.01 will be paid by Brandon University to students in order to contribute to the expenses of their studies in Canada. 

Eligibility requirements: 

This scholarship will be attributed according to academic achievement, for an international student from a country in Africa, and priority will be accorded to a candidate who will be pursuing a graduate program at any Brandon University faculty. 

Application process: 

In order to register for admission to the program, candidates must be admitted to the university’s graduate program. 

Supporting Documents: 

Official records or definite documents have to be submitted by the delivering institute or by the examining authority. 

Admission Requirements: 

Applicants are required to have completed a prior degree with exceptional performance records at the time of application. 

Conditions of Language: 

Please note that if English is not a primary language, the appropriate English language requirements must be successfully completed: 

The Office of Admissions may not approve English proficiency scores that are dated more than two years ago. 

Please note that all documents that are provided for consideration should be considered to be authentic. The university will consider only documents that have been submitted by the institution that awarded the degree.  However, the one and only exclusion is the TOEFL that can be electronically transmitted by TOEFL (ETS) immediately. Documents sent via email, copied, authenticated or witnessed are not considered acceptable by Brandon University. 

  • ENGLISH FOR ACADEMIC PURPOSE PROGRAM (EAP) 

The English for Academic Purpose is designed primarily for students who are preparing to enter English-language post-secondary institutions and who need to improve their English language skills in order to achieve a university master’s degree; it is also designed for individuals who wish to improve their use of English as a second language for professional or personal purposes. Some knowledge of the English language is required before students are accepted into the English for Academic Purpose program. In general, high school English is required.
