The Alan Myers Scholarships are open for International Students who wish to get a Post-graduate degree in the field of Law at the University of Oxford, United Kingdom. 

The applications of graduates will continue to be managed through the university website – there is an online application form for any questions you may have. If students are required to take an English test, the university currently has a deadline of the British summer. 

Scholarship Benefits: 

Each of the two successful applicants will receive a grant of approximately £20,000 from Oxford to attend the BCL program. 

Eligibility requirements: 

For the BCL program to be considered, candidates are required to have completed, or intend to complete, their degree at Melbourne Law School by the time they finish their program. 

Application process: 

The first step in the process is for each applicant to apply online for the BCL program at Oxford. A separate application is not a requirement for this scholarship, however, as all qualifying candidates will receive automatic consideration.

  • Resume,
  • Personal statement,
  • Written work and letters of recommendation. 

Admission Requirements: 

All successful candidates are required to have completed an undergraduate degree with distinction in law or have the opportunity to obtain the equivalent of such a degree. 

Conditions of Language: 

It is required that the following English language proficiency test scores be submitted by students:

  • IELTS: 7.5,
  • TOEFL IBT: 110,
  • CAE: 191,
  • CPE: 191.
